Key Responsibilities

• Design site development plans, including grading, earthworks, stormwater management, and utility systems for urban projects.
• Prepare detailed construction drawings, specifications, and engineering reports using industry‑standard software.
• Ensure designs comply with local municipal requirements, building codes, and environmental regulations.
• Conduct hydraulic and hydrological analysis for stormwater systems and drainage networks.
• Collaborate remotely with architects, planners, and other consultants to integrate designs seamlessly.
• Review and stamp engineering plans and calculations in accordance with professional engineering standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil site design , particularly for urban or land development projects.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D , AutoCAD, and stormwater modeling software (e.g., HEC-RAS, SWMM).
• Strong understanding of grading, drainage, utility design, and South African planning regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, essential for effective remote collaboration.
• Must be a registered Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng) with ECSA.
