About the Role
Our client is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join their reputable childcare centre in East London . This role focuses on providing exceptional care and education to young children, fostering their development across all learning domains. You will be responsible for creating a stimulating and safe play-based learning environment, planning and implementing engaging activities, and working collaboratively with colleagues and parents. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality care and education to children within the early years framework.
- Plan and implement a varied curriculum of activities that promote learning and development.
- Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records and providing feedback.
- Ensure a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and well-being.
- Work collaboratively as part of a dedicated childcare team.
Requirements
- Relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent (e.g., NQF Level 4).
- Experience working in a nursery or preschool setting.
- Knowledge of the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) or similar curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage classroom activities and maintain a positive learning environment.
- First Aid and CPR certification is essential.
