This position is vital for ensuring swift and secure delivery of parcels and documents to businesses and residents within the city. You will be responsible for managing your delivery schedule, operating a courier vehicle efficiently, and providing exceptional service to clients. The ideal candidate is energetic, possesses excellent route-finding abilities, and takes pride in their punctuality and professionalism. This role offers a fast-paced and rewarding experience for an individual dedicated to customer satisfaction and timely logistics within the Eastern Cape region.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver parcels, documents, and other items to designated locations within the specified timeframes.
• Operate a courier vehicle safely and responsibly, obeying all traffic laws.
• Plan efficient routes to maximize delivery numbers per shift.
• Maintain the cleanliness and operational readiness of the delivery vehicle.
• Obtain signatures and confirm proof of delivery for all completed deliveries.
• Communicate with the dispatch team regarding delivery status and any issues encountered.

Requirements

• Valid Code B or Code 10 driver's license .
• Proven experience as a courier or delivery driver.
• Strong knowledge of Port Elizabeth and surrounding areas.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle packages carefully and accurately.
• Professional demeanor and strong customer service orientation.
