About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Fleet Dispatch Manager to oversee and optimize daily dispatch operations in Tembisa . This hybrid role involves managing a team of dispatchers, ensuring efficient routing and scheduling of company vehicles, and maintaining high levels of service. You will play a critical role in the smooth functioning of our transport division, balancing remote coordination with necessary on-site presence. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and direct the daily activities of the dispatch team, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.

• Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and company policies.
• Utilize dispatch software to track vehicles, monitor progress, and respond to operational changes.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers, addressing operational concerns and providing support.
• Analyze dispatch data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in fleet management or dispatch operations.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of dispatch software and transportation management systems.
• Familiarity with traffic laws and transportation regulations .
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make quick decisions under pressure.
