Youth Program Coordinator

About the Role

Our client, a community-focused non-profit organization, is seeking an energetic and dedicated Youth Program Coordinator to develop and manage impactful programs for young people in East London . This role is central to providing enriching opportunities that foster personal growth, skill development, and positive engagement for youth in the Eastern Cape. You will design program curricula, facilitate activities, recruit and mentor youth participants, and build relationships with schools and community partners. Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage engaging youth programs and activities.
• Facilitate workshops and sessions focused on life skills, education, and personal development.
• Recruit, support, and mentor youth participants throughout program duration.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with schools, parents, and community stakeholders.
• Evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
• Maintain accurate program records and reports.

Requirements

• Experience in youth work, education, social work, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of child and adolescent development.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to plan and organize programs and events.
• Familiarity with the needs and challenges of youth in East London is an advantage.
• Ability to work with diverse groups of young people.
