Our client is seeking a talented and creative Mobile Application Developer to join their innovative digital product team in Upington .

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms. This role involves working closely with product managers, designers, and backend developers to create engaging and user-friendly mobile experiences. The ideal candidate is passionate about mobile technology, has a strong understanding of the mobile development lifecycle, and is eager to contribute to impactful mobile solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop native or cross-platform mobile applications using languages and frameworks like Swift, Kotlin, React Native, or Flutter.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and mockups into intuitive and visually appealing mobile interfaces.
• Integrate mobile applications with backend services and APIs.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Implement unit tests and integration tests to ensure application stability and performance.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and user experience across various devices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of professional experience in mobile application development.
• Proven experience developing applications for either iOS (Swift/Objective-C) or Android (Kotlin/Java), or cross-platform frameworks.
• Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX design principles and platform-specific guidelines.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and mobile-related databases.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
