JOB SUMMARY
The Chief of Staff serves as a strategic advisor and trusted partner to the CEO, driving the execution of enterprise-wide strategic initiatives, governance priorities, performance management, executive decision-making, stakeholder engagement, and business transformation initiatives. The role acts as a bridge between the CEO, Executive Committee, Board, hospital leadership teams, and key stakeholders to ensure strategic objectives are effectively translated into operational outcomes.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, Healthcare Management, Law, Public Administration, or a related field.
- MBA or relevant Postgraduate Qualification advantageous.
- Project Management Certification (PMP, Prince2, Agile or equivalent) advantageous.
- Corporate Governance qualification advantageous.
Minimum Experience:
- 8-10 years' experience in strategy, consulting, business performance, executive support, or senior leadership roles.
- 5+ years supporting Executive Leadership teams and/or Boards.
- Proven track record in leading strategic and business transformation initiatives.
- Experience in healthcare or other highly regulated industries advantageous.
- Strong stakeholder management, cross-functional leadership, governance, and board reporting experience.

DELIVERABLES
- Coordinate and monitor implementation of CEO and Board-approved strategic priorities across the Group.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO, providing strategic analysis, insights, and decision support.
- Drive alignment and execution of strategic initiatives across hospitals, support services, and corporate functions.
- Develop and monitor executive performance dashboards, scorecards, and business performance reviews.
- Coordinate Executive Committee, Board, and governance activities, ensuring implementation of resolutions and action items.
- Lead and support strategic projects, business transformation, and organisational change initiatives.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to accelerate delivery of organisational priorities.
- Prepare executive reports, presentations, business cases, and governance documentation.
- Monitor strategic risks, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend corrective actions to support organisational goals.
