This role is responsible for identifying, cultivating, and managing strategic partnerships with corporations, foundations, and other organizations to advance the client's mission. You will play a crucial role in securing resources, expanding program reach, and enhancing the organization's overall impact within the Eastern Cape. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for identifying and engaging potential partners.
- Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with corporate sponsors, foundations, and community organizations.
- Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop compelling proposals and partnership benefits.
- Represent the organization at networking events, conferences, and industry gatherings.
- Monitor partnership performance and ensure effective stewardship and reporting to partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, corporate partnerships, or fundraising.
- Proven success in cultivating and managing strategic alliances.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of the non-profit sector and the Port Elizabeth business landscape.
- Ability to think strategically and develop innovative partnership models.
