Job Description

Job Purpose

• Toprovide vital support to the team, preparing, checking and packing orders ensuring smooth, safe and efficient running of operations in accordance to production objectives.

Key Performance Areas

• Collect orders from warehouse.
• Pack and unpack boxes.
• Check quality of products to ensure adherence to standards.
• Report deviation from standards to supervisor or team leader.
• Assist in other positions and departments in accordance with operational requirements.
• Ensure achievement of targets in line with quality standards in a highly pressurised environment.
• Adhere to Safety regulations and report any safety irregularities to management.
• Maintain good housekeeping.

Job Requirements

Minimum Skills and Knowledge Required

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years’ similar experience required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbal and written.
• Prior experience in packing within the Screen department will be an added advantage.
• Able to work overtime / weekends in accordance with operational requirements
