About the Role

Our client is looking for a talented Decentralized Finance (DeFi) Developer to join their innovative team, with the option to work remotely from Mossel Bay or other locations. You will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying sophisticated DeFi protocols and applications. This role is perfect for someone passionate about revolutionizing the financial landscape through blockchain technology. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement core DeFi protocols such as lending platforms, decentralized exchanges (DEXs), and yield farming mechanisms.
• Write secure, efficient, and gas-optimized smart contracts using Solidity.
• Integrate with various blockchain networks and oracles to ensure data accuracy and functionality.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create intuitive and user-friendly DeFi interfaces.
• Conduct thorough testing and auditing of smart contracts to ensure security and prevent exploits.

Requirements

• Strong experience in developing and deploying DeFi protocols on platforms like Ethereum.
• Proficiency in Solidity and smart contract development best practices.
• Solid understanding of DeFi concepts, tokenomics, and financial primitives.
• Experience with front-end technologies for interacting with smart contracts is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a globally distributed team.
