Remote E-commerce Data Scientist

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sophisticated machine learning models to predict customer behavior, optimize pricing, and personalize recommendations.


• Analyze large datasets from various sources (e.g., website traffic, sales, customer interactions) to identify key trends and insights.


• Design and execute experiments (A/B testing) to measure the impact of new features and marketing strategies.


• Collaborate with product, marketing, and engineering teams to translate data insights into actionable business strategies.


• Build and maintain robust data pipelines and reporting systems to track key performance indicators.


• Communicate complex analytical findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in a quantitative field such as Data Science , Statistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.


• Proven experience in applying machine learning techniques to solve business problems, preferably in e-commerce.


• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).


• Strong understanding of statistical modeling, experimental design, and data mining techniques.


• Experience with SQL and working with large datasets, including cloud-based data warehouses.


• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
