About the Role

Our client is looking for a conscientious and efficient Insurance Claims Assessor to manage claims processing for their diverse client base in Soweto . This role is crucial in evaluating the extent of damages or losses reported by policyholders, determining the validity of claims against policy terms, and authorizing appropriate settlements. You will act as a key point of contact, ensuring a fair and timely resolution for policyholders while upholding the company's standards. Your role will directly impact customer satisfaction and the operational integrity of the claims department in the Gauteng region.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and meticulously review insurance claims submitted by policyholders.


• Investigate claim details to verify the circumstances and extent of loss or damage.


• Assess the value of claims based on policy coverage, repair estimates, and market valuations.


• Communicate assessment findings and claim decisions clearly to policyholders.


• Authorize payment of approved claims within established guidelines and authority levels.


• Maintain accurate and organized records of all claims processed.

Requirements

• Previous experience in claims assessment, claims handling, or a related role within the insurance sector.


• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in evaluating claim information.
