Professional Quantity Surveyor

Minimum Requirements - BTech or BSc Degree in Quantity Surveying - Professional Registration (Pr.QS) - Minimum 45 years experience (up to 610 years experience will be advantageous) - Valid drivers license - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Technical Skills - WINQS - DIMX - MS Word - MS Excel (strong proficiency required) Key Responsibilities - Review and evaluate design documentation - Prepare preliminary and detailed cost estimates - Compile Bills of Quantities and contract documentation - Conduct financial evaluation of tenders - Administer cash flow forecasts, cost reports, valuations, variation orders, and contractual claims - Prepare and negotiate final accounts - Attend project and client meetings - Formulate, review, and analyse repair estimates - Prepare viability studies, damage costings, and determine value at risk - Liaise and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including Project Managers, Architects, Engineers, and Quantity Surveyors Key Competencies & Attributes - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work effectively within a team - Leadership ability - Adaptability and flexibility - High attention to detail - Emotional intelligence - Excellent time management skills - Conflict resolution skills - Client relationship management skills - Negotiation skills - Analytical and creative thinking - Strong budgeting, estimating, procurement, and cost control skills - Commitment to quality assurance
