Key responsibilities Manage the end-to-end export order cycle, from trading budgets, sales orders and purchase orders through to shipment Maintain an accurate, live trade position and keep order management systems up to date Process Letters of Credit in line with contractual and banking requirements Support trade and risk reporting, and execute and monitor hedging transactions Handle customer claims and post-arrival commercial issues Arrange vessel bookings, container releases, packing lists and shipped-on-board confirmations Allocate packed containers to open sales orders, and manage short shipments and reallocations Issue weekly shipping schedules and keep customers and agents informed of changes Provide cross-cover for other commodity lines and sales administration functions where needed Requirements Matric plus a diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade, Commerce or a related field 3 to 5 years' experience in export administration or trade operations Hands-on experience with Letters of Credit and shipping line coordination Advanced Excel and confidence working in order management or ERP systems Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines Clear, professional communication with international customers, agents and service providers Advantageous Commodities, timber, agri or bulk export experience Exposure to hedging or foreign exchange Experience working for or with international trading houses or overseas head offices Remuneration R 40 000 - R60 000 Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted #J-18808-Ljbffr
