About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Bioinformatics Specialist to join their fully remote team focused on Precision Medicine . This role is integral to leveraging genomic and clinical data to advance personalized treatment strategies. You will be responsible for developing and applying computational tools to analyze patient data, identify disease biomarkers, and contribute to the development of targeted therapies. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and validate bioinformatics pipelines for variant calling, gene expression analysis, and pathway analysis.
• Collaborate with clinicians and researchers to interpret findings and translate them into actionable insights for precision medicine initiatives.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of computational strategies for patient stratification and drug target discovery.
• Prepare comprehensive reports, visualizations, and presentations of analytical results for scientific and clinical audiences.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in bioinformatics, genomics, and precision medicine.

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. degree in Bioinformatics , Computational Biology, Genomics, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in bioinformatics analysis, with a strong focus on human genomics and clinical data.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL, including experience with relevant bioinformatics libraries.
• Solid understanding of statistical methods, machine learning, and their application to biological data.
• Experience with public genomic databases (e.g., TCGA, dbSNP) and annotation tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, essential for working effectively in a remote team setting.
