Youth Development Worker - Community Programs

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and engaging Youth Development Worker to join their team in Pretoria . Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and facilitate engaging activities and workshops for youth aged 12-18.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to young participants, fostering their social, emotional, and educational development.
• Identify the needs of young people and connect them with relevant support services and opportunities.
• Build positive relationships with youth, parents, schools, and community organizations in Pretoria .
• Maintain accurate records of participant engagement, progress, and outcomes of youth development activities.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Youth Work, Social Work, Education, or a related field.

• Knowledge of child protection policies and procedures is essential.
