Fully remote, South Africa | UK working hours

1st Executive is the largest specialist recruiter in Procurement, Supply Chain and Commercial in the UK. We place permanent, interim and executive talent with corporate and public sector clients across the UK and Europe.

We're building our delivery team in South Africa. This is a 180 role. Our UK consultants own the client relationships, and you own the candidate side: finding, engaging and shortlisting the people who get placed.

The role

• Source candidates for live UK and European roles using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards and our CRM
• Headhunt passive candidates, screen them by phone and video, and qualify their motivation, salary and notice period
• Put together tight shortlists and well‑written candidate profiles for the UK team
• Keep candidates engaged through interviews to offer
• Keep the CRM clean and up to date

What we're looking for

• 1–3 years in recruitment, sourcing or resourcing, ideally on a 180 or delivery desk
• Experience recruiting for UK or international clients is a strong advantage
• An understanding of procurement, supply chain or commercial roles is a real bonus
• Excellent written and spoken English, and confidence talking to senior professionals
• Comfortable working on your own, organised and quick to turn things around
• A reliable home office with a strong internet connection and back‑up power
• You must be a South Africa based recruiter as you will be employed via our South African employment partner,we will not consider candidates from other locations apart from possibly the UK
