About the Role

Our client is seeking a visionary Director of Fitness and Wellness to lead their health and wellness programs in Pretoria . This senior leadership role is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing all fitness, wellness, and recreational programs across the organization's facilities. You will drive strategies to enhance member engagement, promote healthy lifestyles, and ensure a superior fitness experience. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic plans for fitness, wellness, and recreational programs.
• Manage fitness center operations, including staff supervision, budget administration, and facility maintenance.
• Create innovative fitness classes, personal training programs, and wellness initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to industry best practices, safety standards, and legal requirements.
• Lead a team of fitness instructors, personal trainers, and wellness coordinators.
• Collaborate with marketing to promote programs and drive membership growth.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Kinesiology, Sports Management, Public Health, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in fitness management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Certifications from recognized fitness organizations (e.g., ACE, NASM, ACSM).
• Demonstrated success in program development, budget management, and team leadership.
• Strong understanding of current fitness trends, exercise science, and wellness principles.
• Exceptional communication, motivational, and strategic planning skills.
