Foundry Production Lead - Lean & Continuous Improvement
Our client is looking for a visionary and experienced Lead Remote Insurance Product Manager to spearhead the development and strategic direction of their insurance product portfolio, working entirely from home and based remotely from Stellenbosch . This leadership role is responsible for defining the product roadmap, driving innovation, and ensuring that our insurance offerings meet market demands and strategic objectives. You will collaborate closely with engineering, marketing, sales, and actuarial teams to bring cutting-edge insurance solutions to market. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of the insurance landscape, a passion for product innovation, and proven experience in leading product strategy in a remote-first setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the insurance product portfolio.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation to identify opportunities for new products and enhancements.
- Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes for development teams.
- Prioritize product initiatives based on business value, customer impact, and strategic alignment.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches and ongoing lifecycle management.
- Lead and mentor a team of product managers and analysts within a remote environment.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in product management , with a significant focus on the insurance or financial services industry.
- Proven ability to define product strategy, develop roadmaps, and launch successful products.
- Strong understanding of insurance products, markets, and regulatory environments.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working effectively in a fully remote and collaborative setting.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
