UI/UX Researcher

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and empathetic UI/UX Researcher to join their product development team in a fully remote capacity. This role is dedicated to understanding user needs, behaviors, and motivations to inform the design and development of intuitive and effective digital products. You will conduct a variety of research studies, translate findings into actionable insights, and collaborate closely with designers and product managers to champion the voice of the user. Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute a range of user research studies, including usability testing, user interviews, surveys, and ethnographic research.
• Analyze qualitative and quantitative research data to identify key user pain points, needs, and opportunities.
• Synthesize research findings into clear, concise, and actionable insights, presenting them effectively to cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers and product managers to integrate user feedback into the design process and product strategy.
• Advocate for user-centered design principles and ensure that user needs are a primary consideration throughout the product lifecycle.
• Stay current with the latest research methodologies and tools, continually refining the research process.

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in UX research or a related research role.
• Proven experience conducting and analyzing a variety of qualitative and quantitative user research methods.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate research findings clearly.
• Experience working effectively in a fully remote team environment, managing research projects independently.
• Proficiency with research tools and platforms for surveys, usability testing, and data analysis.
