Our client is actively seeking an experienced Remote Senior Mechanical Engineer specializing in automation to join their innovative team. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize automated mechanical systems, including robotic workcells, conveyor systems, and specialized machinery, for remote deployment and support.
• Conduct detailed kinematic and dynamic analysis of robotic systems to ensure smooth operation, efficiency, and safety.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including controls engineers, software developers, and project managers, using advanced digital collaboration tools to define system requirements and integrate components.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including schematics, BOMs, and operating manuals, optimized for digital access and remote support.
• Troubleshoot and provide remote technical assistance for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of automated systems, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Evaluate and select appropriate components, materials, and technologies for automation projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness and high performance.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in the design and development of automated systems and robotics.
• Strong proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor) and simulation tools for mechanical and robotic systems.
• Demonstrated experience with robotics, motion control , and automation principles.
• Proven ability to work independently and effectively in a fully remote setting, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with project management methodologies and digital documentation platforms.
