About the Role

Our client is looking for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Tax Consultant to join their advisory services team in Pretoria . This role focuses on providing expert tax advice and solutions to a diverse range of corporate and individual clients, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax legislation. You will be instrumental in identifying tax planning opportunities, managing tax disputes, and staying abreast of evolving tax laws. Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive tax planning and advisory services to clients.
• Prepare and review tax returns for corporate and individual clients.
• Represent clients in dealings with the South African Revenue Service (SARS).
• Conduct tax research and provide interpretations of complex tax legislation.
• Identify and advise on tax implications of business transactions and restructuring.
• Develop and deliver tax training to clients and internal staff as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Law, or Taxation; Post-graduate qualification in Taxation is essential.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a tax advisory or consulting role.
• In-depth knowledge of South African tax laws and SARS procedures.
• Proficiency in tax preparation software and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, research, and client-facing communication skills.
