About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Remote Flight Dispatcher Coordinator to manage and optimize flight operations from a virtual environment. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant execution of flight schedules. You will coordinate with flight crews, maintenance teams, and ground handling personnel to manage flight plans, monitor weather conditions, and respond to operational changes in real-time. The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure, ensuring seamless operations for a global client base without needing to be on-site.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage flight plans, considering weather, air traffic control, and operational requirements.
• Monitor flight progress, providing timely updates and necessary adjustments to flight crews.
• Coordinate with maintenance and ground operations to ensure aircraft readiness and timely turnarounds.
• Manage operational disruptions, including diversions and schedule changes, ensuring passenger and crew safety.
• Maintain accurate flight logs and operational records for regulatory compliance.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and authorities as required to ensure adherence to all aviation laws.

Requirements

• Relevant certification or degree in Aviation Operations, Flight Dispatch, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Flight Dispatcher or in a similar operational coordination role.
• In-depth knowledge of flight planning , meteorology, and air traffic control procedures.
• Familiarity with aviation regulations (e.g., ICAO, SACAA).
• Excellent decision-making skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure in a remote setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with diverse teams.
