About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and professional Insurance Broker specializing in Personal Lines to serve clients in Stellenbosch . You will be responsible for advising individuals and families on suitable insurance coverages, including home, vehicle, and travel insurance. The core of your role involves understanding client needs, assessing risks, and sourcing the best policy options from various insurers to provide comprehensive protection. Key Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to identify their insurance needs and provide expert advice on personal lines policies.
• Analyze client circumstances and recommend appropriate insurance products such as household, vehicle, and personal liability cover.
• Source quotes from a panel of insurers, comparing options to find the best value and coverage for the client.
• Explain policy terms, conditions, exclusions, and benefits clearly to clients.
• Manage client portfolios, including renewals, endorsements, and claims assistance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and insurance providers.
• Stay informed about new products, market changes, and regulatory updates in the personal insurance sector.

Requirements

Proven experience as an Insurance Broker or Account Executive, with a focus on personal insurance . Thorough knowledge of personal lines insurance products (e.g., household, vehicle, travel, sectional title). Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Ability to explain complex insurance concepts in a simple and understandable manner. Relevant industry qualifications and certifications (e.g., RE 1, FAIS) are essential. Strong client relationship management skills and a commitment to customer service, based in Stellenbosch .
