Infrastructure Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized Infrastructure Project Manager to manage and execute critical IT infrastructure projects in Nelspruit . This role is vital for ensuring the successful deployment and upgrade of hardware, networks, and systems that support the organization's operations. You will be responsible for planning, budgeting, and overseeing all phases of infrastructure projects, from initial assessment to final implementation and handover. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical acumen, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering robust, reliable infrastructure solutions within a dedicated office environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and successful completion of IT infrastructure projects, including network upgrades, server deployments, and cloud migrations.
• Define project scope, goals, technical requirements, and resource allocation in collaboration with IT stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project schedules and manage budgets effectively, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within financial constraints.
• Coordinate with internal IT teams, vendors, and service providers to ensure seamless project execution.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring business continuity and minimal disruption to operations.
• Provide regular project status updates, reports, and presentations to senior management and relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in IT project management , with a strong focus on infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience managing projects involving network hardware, servers, data centers, and cloud environments.
• Knowledge of ITIL best practices and project management methodologies like Waterfall and Agile.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience working within a corporate office setting in Nelspruit .
