About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Remote Construction Planner to join their innovative team. This role is essential for developing and managing detailed construction schedules and plans, working entirely from a remote location. You will be responsible for optimizing project timelines, resource allocation, and workflows to ensure efficient project delivery. The ideal candidate has a strong background in construction planning, excellent analytical skills, and is adept at using planning software and collaborating virtually across different teams and locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update detailed project construction schedules using advanced planning software.
• Analyze project plans and specifications to identify potential scheduling conflicts and resource constraints.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to gather necessary information for planning.
• Optimize construction sequences and methodologies to enhance efficiency and reduce project duration.
• Prepare clear and concise planning reports, including critical path analysis and look-ahead schedules.
• Monitor project progress against the planned schedule and identify deviations, proposing solutions to bring projects back on track.
• Facilitate virtual planning meetings and ensure effective communication among all project stakeholders.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction planning and scheduling.
• Proven proficiency with construction scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequences, and site operations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to interpret complex construction drawings and specifications.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, essential for a remote role.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is advantageous.
