Lead Insurance Compliance Officer

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and proactive Lead Insurance Compliance Officer to join their organization in a fully remote capacity. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all company operations and activities strictly adhere to the relevant insurance laws, regulations, and internal policies. You will lead the compliance efforts, develop and implement compliance programs, and advise senior management on compliance matters. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage the company's comprehensive compliance program for the insurance industry .
• Conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments to identify potential areas of non-compliance.
• Interpret and advise on new or changing regulatory requirements impacting the business.
• Develop and deliver compliance training programs to employees at all levels.
• Investigate compliance breaches, recommend corrective actions, and monitor their implementation.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory bodies and manage reporting requirements.

Requirements

• Extensive experience (7+ years) in compliance, risk management, or legal roles within the insurance sector.
• Deep understanding of insurance regulations, corporate governance, and ethical standards.
• Proven ability to develop and implement effective compliance frameworks and policies.
• Excellent analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CCEP, CRCM) are highly desirable.
