Role Overview

We are seeking a warm, empathetic, and highly personable Medical Outreach Specialistto serve as the first point of contact between our organization and local medical offices. In this role, you will reach out to healthcare professionals to introduce our services, share how we support the special needs community, and schedule warm introductions for our Field Marketing Director.

Key Responsibilities

• Initiate conversations with medical practices, therapy centers, and healthcare providers to introduce our mission and services.
• Establish a positive, trusted presence with office staff, medical assistants, and practice managers.
• Schedule in-person introductory meetings and educational visits for our Field Marketing Lead.
• Clearly and compassionately explain how our programs support individuals and families within the special needs community.
• Send personalized follow-up notes and materials to keep communication channels open and welcoming.
• Maintain neat, organized notes on outreach activities, practice preferences, and appointment details in our contact system.

Key Qualifications & Qualities

• A natural, soothing, and engaging telephone presence that makes gatekeepers and medical staff feel respected and heard.
• The ability to tune into the needs of a practice rather than pushing a rigid pitch.
• Strong verbal communication skills with a courteous, patient, and polite etiquette.
• Excellent follow-through when scheduling calendar invites and managing coordinator notes.
• Prior experience in patient advocacy, healthcare administration, customer care, or community outreach is preferred
