Remote BIM Architect

Our client is seeking an expert Remote BIM Architect to drive the implementation and utilization of Building Information Modeling across their projects, with a focus on standards relevant to regions including Nelspruit . You will work with a distributed team of professionals, establishing best practices for BIM workflows, templates, and libraries. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain BIM standards, protocols, and workflows for architectural projects.
• Create and manage project-specific BIM models, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Coordinate with architectural, engineering, and construction teams using BIM platforms for clash detection and design review.
• Train and support project teams on BIM software and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master of Architecture degree.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in architecture, with at least 4 years focused on BIM implementation and management.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit and a strong understanding of other BIM-related software and platforms.
• Experience in developing and enforcing BIM standards and execution plans.
• Excellent communication and training skills, with the ability to effectively manage a remote team.
• Familiarity with various project delivery methods and their integration with BIM.
