Our client is seeking a proactive and meticulous Remote Industrial Engineer specializing in Quality Systems. This position allows you to contribute to enhancing product and process quality from a remote location, working with global teams to implement and maintain robust quality management frameworks. You will analyze production data, identify root causes of defects, and develop strategies to improve overall quality performance and compliance. This role is ideal for an engineer passionate about quality assurance and continuous improvement, leveraging technology to ensure excellence in a distributed work model.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze quality data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and areas for improvement.
• Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) such as ISO 9001.
• Design and conduct process capability studies and statistical process control (SPC) analysis.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and assurance teams to resolve quality issues.
• Develop and deliver training on quality standards and procedures to relevant personnel.
• Conduct internal audits and support external audits to ensure compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial engineering or quality engineering, with a focus on quality systems.
• Proven experience with ISO 9001 implementation and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of statistical methods, SPC, and root cause analysis tools.
• Proficiency in quality management software and data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and remote collaboration skills.
