About the Role

Our client is looking for a seasoned and dependable Senior Foreman to supervise and direct construction workers on various sites in Pretoria . This role is crucial for ensuring that construction operations are efficient, safe, and meet quality standards. You will be the direct link between the project managers and the on-site labor force, translating plans into action. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of construction trades, excellent leadership capabilities, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of construction crews and subcontractors.
• Ensure all work is performed according to project specifications, blueprints, and safety standards.
• Manage on-site material and equipment, ensuring availability and efficient utilization.
• Conduct daily toolbox talks and ensure adherence to safety regulations.
• Report on project progress, labor, and equipment usage to the project manager.
• Train and mentor junior site staff and laborers.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Foreman or in a similar supervisory role in the construction industry.
• Extensive knowledge of construction trades, methods, and materials.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Good understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
