Senior Business Intelligence Developer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Senior Business Intelligence Developer to join their team in Paarl . You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining BI solutions that provide actionable insights to business users. This role involves working with large datasets, creating reports and dashboards, and optimizing data models for performance and usability. You will play a key role in empowering the organization with data-driven decision-making capabilities and collaborating with various departments to understand their reporting needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement scalable Business Intelligence solutions, including data warehouses, data marts, and reporting systems.
• Create and maintain complex ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
• Develop interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik Sense.
• Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored BI solutions.
• Provide training and support to end-users on BI tools and reports.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence development or a related field.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with database design and development.
• Strong experience with ETL tools and concepts.
• Expertise in at least one major BI visualization tool (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Understanding of data modeling techniques (e.g., dimensional modeling).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
