Remote Catering Coordinator

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Remote Catering Coordinator to manage event logistics from a distance. In this role, you will be the central point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal teams, coordinating all aspects of catering orders and events without being physically present at the venue. You will utilize digital tools and communication platforms to ensure seamless execution, client satisfaction, and adherence to quality standards. This is an ideal position for an organized individual who excels at remote collaboration and possesses strong planning and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate catering orders from initial inquiry through to event completion, managing all communication channels.
• Liaise with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and event details.
• Communicate effectively with chefs, kitchen staff, and delivery personnel to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of orders.
• Manage digital event schedules, ensuring all deadlines and milestones are met.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the planning or execution phases remotely.
• Maintain accurate client records and event documentation using company CRM and other digital tools.

Requirements

• Proven experience in event planning , coordination, or catering administration.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a strong ability to multitask.
• Proficiency in using digital communication and project management tools (e.g., Slack, Asana, Zoom).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective remote interaction.
• Ability to work independently and proactively manage workload in a remote setting.
