About the Role

Our client is seeking an energetic and reliable Catering Assistant to join their team in Vereeniging. This role is essential for supporting the smooth execution of various catering events, ensuring client satisfaction through diligent assistance in food preparation, service, and event setup. You will work closely with the catering manager and kitchen staff to uphold high standards of quality and presentation. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a positive attitude, eager to learn and contribute to memorable dining experiences across the Gauteng region, particularly in the Vereeniging area.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and presentation of food items according to established recipes and standards.
• Serve food and beverages to guests during events, ensuring excellent customer service.
• Set up and break down event spaces, including table arrangements, decorations, and equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, service areas, and event venues.
• Assist with inventory management, including receiving and storing supplies.
• Support the catering team with various tasks as needed to ensure event success.

Requirements
