About the Role

Our client is looking for dedicated Online Tutors to provide academic support in General Studies to students remotely. This role involves assisting students with a broad range of subjects including history, geography, sociology, and general science, helping them understand core concepts and improve their academic performance. You will facilitate engaging online sessions, provide clear explanations, and offer personalized guidance. Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and small group online tutoring sessions in various General Studies subjects.
• Explain complex concepts, theories, and historical events in an accessible and understandable manner.
• Assist students with homework, assignments, and preparation for exams across different disciplines.
• Develop customized learning approaches based on individual student needs and learning styles.
• Maintain student records and provide feedback on progress and areas for improvement.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in any discipline relevant to General Studies (e.g., History, Sociology, Literature, Political Science).
• Demonstrated knowledge across a range of academic subjects.
• Previous experience in tutoring, teaching, or providing academic support.
• Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills for effective online interaction.
• Reliable internet connection, a suitable computer, and a quiet workspace for remote tutoring sessions in the Gauteng region.
