About the Role

Our client is looking for a self-motivated and dependable Remote Courier Driver to manage delivery operations primarily within the Upington, Northern Cape region, with significant remote coordination and planning responsibilities. This role demands a high degree of autonomy, excellent navigation skills, and the ability to manage delivery schedules efficiently from a flexible location. You will be responsible for the timely and safe delivery of packages, maintaining client satisfaction, and upholding company standards. The ideal candidate is a proactive individual who thrives in an independent work setting and possesses strong organizational abilities to manage logistics remotely while performing essential driving duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute scheduled courier routes for parcel and document delivery across the Upington area.
• Ensure the secure and timely transport of goods, handling items with care.
• Manage delivery schedules and adapt to changing logistics requirements effectively.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, proof of delivery, and any necessary paperwork.
• Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status and potential issues.
• Perform basic checks on the assigned delivery vehicle to ensure roadworthiness.

Requirements

• Valid Code 10 driver's license with a current PDP.
• Proven experience as a courier or delivery driver.
• Strong knowledge of the Upington and Northern Cape region's road network.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills for remote task management.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Reliable communication devices and a smartphone for navigation and updates.
