About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Commercial Cleaning Supervisor to lead their cleaning team in Stellenbosch . This leadership role is essential for ensuring that all commercial spaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, overseeing staff performance, and implementing effective sanitation strategies. This position requires a hands‑on approach, combined with strong leadership skills, to foster a productive and safety-conscious work environment, directly contributing to the overall presentation and operational integrity of client facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and schedule a team of cleaning staff to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Conduct regular inspections of work sites to ensure adherence to quality standards and sanitation protocols .
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed and ensuring proper storage.
• Address client or site-specific issues promptly and professionally, ensuring satisfaction.
• Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations within the cleaning operations.
• Provide hands‑on support during peak times or when staff shortages occur.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within the cleaning or facilities management industry.
• Solid understanding of cleaning chemicals, sanitation best practices , and safety procedures.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff and clients.
