About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and customer-focused Real Estate Leasing Agent to manage residential and commercial property rentals in Paarl . This role is key to matching tenants with suitable properties, managing lease agreements, and ensuring smooth property management operations. You will be the primary point of contact for prospective tenants and current leaseholders, providing excellent service and resolving any issues that may arise. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining high occupancy rates and client satisfaction in the Western Cape .

Key Responsibilities

• Market available rental properties across various platforms to attract prospective tenants in Paarl .
• Conduct property viewings, highlighting features and amenities to potential renters.
• Screen tenant applications, including background and credit checks.
• Prepare and manage lease agreements, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements.
• Handle tenant inquiries, requests, and maintenance issues promptly and professionally.
• Conduct routine property inspections and manage the move-in/move-out process.

Requirements

• Proven experience in real estate lettings or leasing, preferably in the Paarl area.
• Strong understanding of the local rental market and relevant landlord-tenant laws.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in property management software and CRM systems.
• Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation are required.
