POSITION INFO:

A new start-up salon in Cape Town is looking for an experienced Assistant Beauty House Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be a South African citizen with a minimum of 1 years’ experience in the beauty industry and must include experience with braids, haircare and skincare.

Requirements:

· ITEC accredited qualification

· Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a salon / beauty salon

· SA citizen

· Knowledge of beauty products, incl. braids, haircare and skincare

· Management experience (advantage)

· Strong organisational, admin and multi-tasking skills

· Excellent communication and inter-personal skills

· Leadership skills

· Computer literacy: MS Office and booking systems

· Reliable, punctual and well-presented

· Exceptional customer service

Working Hours:

· Monday to Saturday: 09:00 - 16:00

· Closed on Saturday and Sunday

Responsibilities:

· Assist with the daily management of the salon

· Assist the House Manager

· Co-ordinate staff schedules, attendance and performance

· Manage stock control and re-ordering

· Ensure studio is clean & meet H & S standards at all times

· Handle client queries and bookings

· Assist with marketing and promotional activities

· Ad-hoc duties as requested by Manager
