Fleet Operations Administrator

About the Role

Our client is looking for an efficient and organized Fleet Operations Administrator to manage administrative aspects of their vehicle fleet in Mahikeng, North West . This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and compliant operation of all company vehicles. You will be responsible for maintaining records, scheduling maintenance, managing driver compliance, and supporting the Fleet Manager. The ideal candidate has excellent administrative skills, a strong understanding of fleet management principles, and a proactive approach to supporting the operational needs of the fleet in Mahikeng .

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all company vehicles, including registration, insurance, and service history.
• Schedule and coordinate routine vehicle maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements for fleet operations.
• Process invoices for fuel, maintenance, and other fleet-related expenses.
• Assist in managing driver files and ensuring compliance with licensing and permit requirements.
• Respond to inquiries from drivers and internal departments regarding fleet operations.
• Prepare reports on fleet utilization, costs, and maintenance schedules.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; a qualification in administration or logistics is advantageous.
• Proven administrative experience, preferably within fleet management or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
