About the Role

Our client is seeking highly skilled and motivated Online Tutors with expertise in Advanced Mathematics for a remote contractor role. This position involves providing one-on-one and small group tutoring sessions to students at various academic levels, helping them to understand complex mathematical concepts and improve their performance. Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized and small group online tutoring in advanced mathematics subjects, including calculus, algebra, statistics, and geometry.
• Develop customized lesson plans and learning materials tailored to the specific needs and learning styles of each student.
• Explain complex mathematical concepts clearly and concisely, using various teaching aids and online tools.
• Assess student understanding through questions, practice problems, and interactive exercises.
• Track student progress, provide regular feedback to students and parents, and maintain accurate session logs.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or a closely related quantitative field.
• Demonstrated experience in tutoring or teaching mathematics at an advanced level (high school, college, or university).
• Strong command of calculus, linear algebra, differential equations, and other advanced mathematical topics.
• Proficiency with online tutoring platforms, virtual whiteboards, and collaboration tools.
• Excellent communication, patience, and pedagogical skills to effectively support learners remotely.
