Virtual Events Operations Specialist

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and technically proficient Virtual Events Operations Specialist to manage the seamless execution of their online events. This fully remote role is pivotal in ensuring that all technical aspects of virtual conferences, webinars, and hybrid events run smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for setting up event platforms, managing A/V integration, providing technical support to presenters and attendees, and troubleshooting any issues that arise in real-time. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical skills, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering flawless virtual experiences from any location.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, configure, and manage virtual event platforms (e.g., Zoom Webinar, Bizzabo, Hopin) for various event formats.
• Provide technical support to speakers, moderators, and attendees before, during, and after virtual events.
• Manage live streaming, audio-visual integration, and presentation delivery for online events.
• Troubleshoot technical issues in real-time to ensure uninterrupted event flow.
• Coordinate with event organizers to understand technical requirements and ensure successful event delivery.
• Monitor event performance and gather technical feedback for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Proven experience in technical event production, with a strong focus on virtual and hybrid events.
• Proficiency with major virtual event platforms and streaming technologies.
• Excellent understanding of A/V equipment and online meeting software.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure during live events.
• Effective communication and customer service skills for assisting diverse users.
• Experience with event registration systems and analytics is a plus.
