About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Game Programmer to join their innovative team in Sandton . This role requires a strong command of C++ and extensive experience with game engines like Unreal Engine or Unity. Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain robust and efficient gameplay systems and features using C++.
• Optimize game performance, memory usage, and loading times across target platforms.

• Debug and troubleshoot complex technical issues, ensuring the stability and reliability of the game.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Game Programmer , with a portfolio showcasing shipped titles.
• Strong proficiency in C++ programming and object-oriented design principles.
• Extensive experience with major game engines such as Unreal Engine or Unity.
• Solid understanding of 3D math, physics, and graphics programming concepts.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
