Field Sales Executive - FMCG

About the Role

Our client, a key player in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector, is looking for a dynamic and driven Field Sales Executive to join their team based in Mahikeng . This role is essential for driving sales growth and expanding market presence within assigned retail territories. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with store owners, managing product distribution, and ensuring optimal brand visibility on shelves. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated sales professional with a passion for the FMCG market and a proven ability to achieve sales targets in a field-based capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets within the designated territory.


• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with retail clients, understanding their needs and offering solutions.


• Promote and merchandise FMCG products , ensuring prominent shelf placement and availability.


• Conduct regular store visits to monitor stock levels, check competitor activities, and identify new sales opportunities.


• Provide product information and promotional support to retailers to drive sales and consumer uptake.


• Accurately report sales activities, customer feedback, and market trends to sales management.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Field Sales Executive or similar sales role, preferably in the FMCG sector.


• Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales quotas consistently.


• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.


• A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle for travel within the assigned region.


• Strong understanding of sales principles and customer relationship management.
