About the Role

Our client is seeking a strategic and visionary Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead their financial operations from a remote capacity, serving their growing enterprise headquartered in Mossel Bay . This executive role is responsible for all aspects of financial management, including strategic planning, risk management, compliance, and capital structure. The CFO will play a critical role in shaping the company's financial future, driving growth, and ensuring long-term financial health. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies to support the company's growth and profitability objectives.
• Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, financial planning and analysis, treasury, and tax.
• Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage investor relations, capital raising activities, and banking relationships.
• Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.
• Provide strategic financial guidance to the CEO and Board of Directors, driving informed decision-making.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration; professional certification such as CA(SA) or CPA is mandatory.
• 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior financial executive role (CFO, VP Finance).
• Proven experience in financial strategy, capital markets, M&A, and risk management.
• Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and leadership skills.
• Experience managing remote teams and working effectively in a distributed organizational structure.
• Strong understanding of financial markets and economic trends relevant to the business.
