Visual Merchandiser - Retail Displays

About the Role

Our client is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Visual Merchandiser to enhance the in-store experience at their flagship location in Centurion, Gauteng . In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing compelling visual displays that attract customers, highlight products, and drive sales. You will work closely with the marketing and retail teams to translate brand aesthetics into captivating store environments. This position is crucial for creating an engaging atmosphere that reflects the brand's identity and appeals to the target customer.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute creative visual merchandising strategies for window displays, in-store layouts, and product presentations.
• Ensure all displays are aligned with brand guidelines, seasonal campaigns, and promotional activities.
• Source and manage props, fixtures, and display materials to achieve desired aesthetic outcomes.
• Collaborate with store management to optimize product placement and floor layouts for maximum impact.
• Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge in visual presentation.
• Train store staff on visual merchandising standards and ensure consistent execution across the store.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Visual Merchandiser or in a related visual display role.
• Strong portfolio showcasing creative visual merchandising concepts and execution.
• Excellent understanding of color theory, spatial design, and visual storytelling.
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey design ideas.
