POSITION INFO:

A newly established group of companies is seeking a confident, results-driven salesperson to grow its Cleaning Services division. The successful candidate will focus on developing new private-sector business, building recurring commercial accounts, and identifying opportunities across cleaning supplies and services.

Role purpose

Generate new private-sector revenue for our client by acquiring Cleaning Supplies and Cleaning Services clients and building recurring commercial accounts.

Key responsibilities

· Build target-account lists across corporate, property, hospitality, retail, industrial and other relevant sectors.

· Prospect through calls, email, networking, referrals and field activity.

· Secure meetings with Procurement, Facilities, Operations and business owners.

· Conduct needs assessments and identify cleaning supply/service opportunities.

· Prepare/follow up quotations and proposals within approved pricing parameters.

· Negotiate and close new business and recurring service/supply contracts.

· Maintain CRM pipeline, weekly activity and revenue forecasts.

· Cross-sell supplies and services where commercially appropriate.

· Coordinate with Tender Administrator on RFQs/tenders and Operations on client handover.

· Support retention and growth of originated accounts.

Minimum qualifications

· Matric essential.

· Sales, Marketing, Business or related qualification advantageous.

· Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle required.

Experiential requirements

· Minimum 5 years' proven B2B sales/business development experience preferred.

· Demonstrable record of personally acquiring new customers and revenue.

· Strong cold-calling/prospecting capability and face-to-face selling confidence.

· Cleaning, hygiene, facilities, consumables, contract services or other B2B service/product sales advantageous.

· Strong negotiation, commercial awareness, CRM and reporting discipline.
