Fitness Club Manager

About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Fitness Club Manager to lead their premier fitness facility in Randburg . You will be responsible for the overall operations of the club, including staff management, membership sales and retention, program development, and financial performance. This role requires strong leadership abilities, excellent customer service skills, and a deep understanding of the fitness industry. You will drive revenue growth, ensure member satisfaction, and maintain a positive and motivating environment for both staff and members within the Gauteng region's competitive Leisure & Sports market.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of club operations, including staff management, training, and performance evaluation.
• Develop and implement strategies to drive membership sales, renewals, and retention.
• Manage club finances, including budgeting, P&L responsibility, and expense control.
• Ensure exceptional member experience through high-quality customer service and facility maintenance.
• Develop and introduce innovative fitness programs and promotions to attract and retain members.
• Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and operational regulations within the Randburg facility.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Sports Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in fitness club management or a senior leadership role in the health and fitness industry.
• Proven track record in sales, marketing, and P&L management within a fitness context.
• Strong leadership, team-building, and communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of fitness operations, programming, and industry trends.
• Passion for health, fitness, and customer service excellence.
