Fleet Controller - Steelpoort

A career opportunity exists at S HAULIERS, STEELPOORT a division of REINHARDT TRANSPORT GROUP (PTY) LTD for the position of:

FLEET CONTROLLER

Job Summary:

• Fleet Management: Oversee all aspects of fleet management. Monitor and manage fleet operations, tracking, fuel consumption, route planning and scheduling. Constant monitoring of driver and vehicle performance and efficiency & finding ways to improve productivity.
• Driver Management: Coordinate driver schedules, routes and assignments, ensure compliance with regulations and Company policies. Assign and ensure execution of tasks to drivers.
• Communication: Liaise with drivers on a regular basis providing updates and resolving any issues. Track orders and deliveries.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with Company policies and safety standards.
• Vehicles: Coordinate vehicle maintenance to ensure the fleet is maintained, including scheduling of services and COF inspections for vehicles to remain in a safe and roadworthy condition. Monthly inspections and arrangements for services and repairs.
• Reporting: Generate reports on fleet performance, efficiency, productivity and any other reporting required by management.

Requirement:

• Matric
• Computer literate
• Excel (compulsory)
• Minimum of 1 – 3 years’ experience in fleet management (controller)
• Own Transport
• Sober habits
• Must be able to work night shifts
• Willing to work long hours, public holidays, and weekends
