About the Role
Our client is looking for a strategic and experienced Retail E-commerce Manager to lead their online sales operations based in Soweto . This leadership role is responsible for developing and executing the e-commerce strategy to drive online revenue growth and enhance the customer experience. You will manage all aspects of the online store, including website management, digital marketing, sales performance, and customer service. The ideal candidate is a results-oriented leader with a proven track record in online retail management and a passion for leveraging digital channels to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive e-commerce strategy to drive online sales and profitability.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the company's e-commerce website, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
- Oversee digital marketing efforts, including SEO, SEM, social media marketing, and email campaigns, to drive traffic and conversions.
- Analyze sales data, website analytics, and customer feedback to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors and technology providers relevant to e-commerce operations.
- Lead and mentor the e-commerce team, fostering a culture of innovation and customer focus within the online retail space.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Significant experience (5+ years) in e-commerce management and online retail strategy.
- Proven track record of successfully growing online sales and managing e-commerce platforms.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing channels, SEO, SEM, and social media advertising.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and leadership skills.
